Ode to the 7th art

For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by light in all its forms. It shapes our perception, sculpts visuals, and breathes life into stories. This passion naturally led me to the world of visual effects and cinematography, where I have the opportunity to manipulate and enhance light to create immersive cinematic experiences.

As a VFX Supervisor and a proud member of the Visual Effects Society, I have contributed to major productions such as Borderlands (2024), Anatomy of a Fall (2023), and John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023). Every project is a new challenge, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in storytelling through imagery. Here’s my link to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) so you can check out more of what I’ve worked on

My love for light extends to photography and, by extension, to all forms encompassed by the arts – most notably, cinema itself. I am captivated by volume and form through sculpture, the meticulous craftsmanship of artisans like René Lalique, as well as the dynamic interplay between movement and a dancer’s command of space. Music, that seemingly invisible wave – much like light – transforms into a tangible force, impacting our bodies both physically and emotionally, intertwining in a dimension where time becomes rhythm.

I love cinema because it absorbs, transforms, and manipulates all these art forms, blending them into a singular, immersive experience. Whether through film, photography, or other artistic expressions, I am constantly seeking that perfect balance of light, structure, and emotion.
